Pet Food Product Occlusion Image Dataset

The retail e-commerce industry faces challenges in accurately recognizing products due to occlusions in images, which can lead to misclassification and poor customer experience. Existing datasets often lack diversity in occlusion scenarios, limiting the effectiveness of machine learning models. This dataset aims to address the need for comprehensive training data that includes various occlusion conditions for pet food products from brands like Pedigree, Whiskas, Purina, and Royal Canin. The dataset is collected using high-resolution cameras in controlled environments, ensuring consistency and clarity. Quality control measures include multiple rounds of annotation, consistency checks, and expert reviews to guarantee high data quality. The images are stored in JPG format organized by brand and occlusion level.
