Brake Disc Detection Dataset

The Brake Disc Detection Dataset is developed to address the increasing demands for quality assurance in the automotive industry, where brake disc anomalies can lead to severe safety issues. Current solutions often rely on manual inspections, which are time-consuming and prone to human error. This dataset aims to solve the technical challenge of automating brake disc condition assessment using machine learning techniques. Data was collected under controlled conditions using high-resolution cameras in an industrial setting, ensuring optimal lighting and minimal interference. Quality control measures included multi-round annotations and expert reviews to ensure consistency and accuracy. The dataset is stored in JPEG format, organized in folders named after specific conditions, allowing for easy access and analysis. The dataset is estimated to contain around 5000 images with a total file size of approximately 3.2GB.
