Down Jacket Occlusion Image Dataset

The retail e-commerce industry faces significant challenges in accurately identifying apparel in images, particularly when occlusions occur, such as bags or hats obscuring parts of the clothing. Current solutions often struggle with occluded objects, leading to misclassification and poor user experiences. This dataset aims to address these challenges by providing a diverse set of images featuring down jackets with various occlusions. Data collection involved capturing images in different retail environments under varying lighting conditions using high-resolution cameras. Quality control measures included multiple rounds of annotation, consistency checks among annotators, and expert reviews to ensure high accuracy.
