Soil Type Identification Dataset

The current agricultural sector faces challenges such as declining soil quality and difficulties in identifying soil types, affecting crop growth and agricultural production efficiency. Existing soil analysis methods often rely on laboratory chemical analysis, which is time-consuming and costly. This dataset aims to assist agricultural practitioners in quickly identifying soil types through image classification technology, allowing for appropriate management measures. The dataset includes diverse soil images collected from different regions, ensuring coverage of various soil types. Data collection uses high-resolution cameras, capturing images in natural environments to accurately reflect soil characteristics. Quality control measures include multiple rounds of annotation and expert review to ensure consistency and accuracy of annotations. Data is stored in JPG format, organized by category, facilitating subsequent training and analysis.
