Occupational Safety Equipment Detection Dataset

The current agriculture industry faces many challenges in terms of labor safety, especially farmers lacking necessary protective equipment when operating machinery, leading to frequent safety accidents. Existing solutions often rely on manual inspection, which is inefficient and prone to omissions. This dataset aims to improve the detection efficiency of occupational safety equipment through automated target detection technology, reducing manual intervention and enhancing safety assurance. The dataset includes images of various occupational safety equipment, collected under different lighting and environmental conditions using high-resolution cameras. We have implemented strict quality control measures, including multiple rounds of annotation and expert review, to ensure the accuracy of every image labeling. The data is stored in JPG format, organized by category and tags, facilitating subsequent model training and evaluation. The core advantage of the dataset is its high annotation accuracy, with labeling consistency exceeding 95%, which improves detection efficiency by 50% compared to traditional manual inspection methods. Additionally, the dataset incorporates new data augmentation techniques, enhancing model robustness in different environments, addressing the low recognition rate of farmer safety equipment, and is expected to reduce safety accident rates by 30%.
