Soil Pollution Detection Dataset

The current agricultural sector faces serious soil pollution issues, affecting crop growth and quality of agricultural products. Existing soil detection methods mostly rely on laboratory analysis, which is time-consuming and costly, resulting in the inability to respond promptly to soil pollution incidents. This dataset aims to provide high-quality soil pollution detection images to help develop fast and accurate target detection algorithms, enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of soil monitoring. The data collection process uses high-resolution cameras to photograph soil samples in different geographic locations, ensuring diversity and representativeness. In terms of quality control, the data has undergone multiple rounds of annotation and expert review to ensure consistency and accuracy in annotation. Data is stored in JPEG format, organized by location and time, facilitating subsequent retrieval and use. The core advantage of this dataset is its high annotation accuracy and completeness, with sample pollution level annotation consistency reaching over 95%. The adoption of new data augmentation technologies can effectively enhance model robustness, with expected target detection accuracy improvement by 15%. The application of this dataset will significantly improve real-time monitoring capabilities of soil pollution, helping farmers take timely countermeasures, thereby increasing crop yield and quality.
