Religious Ceremony Type Recognition Dataset

Currently, as globalization accelerates, the religious ceremonies of various countries and ethnic groups are increasingly attracting the attention of scholars. However, accurately identifying and analyzing these ceremonies in the context of cultural exchange and understanding remains a pressing issue. Existing solutions rely on manual observation and record-keeping, which are inefficient and prone to error. This dataset focuses on the automatic recognition of religious ceremony types using video information, aiming to improve research efficiency and accuracy. Data collection involves recording real religious ceremonies in natural settings using high-quality camera equipment. Quality control includes multiple rounds of video review, consistency checks by experts and scholars, and detailed annotation by a team with backgrounds in religious studies and linguistics. Data preprocessing steps include video clipping, noise filtering, and format conversion, ultimately storing the data in a structured manner as MP4 files.
