Children's Clothing Pants Image Classification Dataset

The current retail e-commerce industry faces challenges with a wide variety of products and rapidly changing consumer demands, especially in the children's clothing market, where accurate product classification is key to enhancing the shopping experience. Existing classification systems often rely on manual labeling, which is inefficient and prone to errors. This dataset aims to provide high-quality images of children's pants to support automated image classification technology, meeting the e-commerce platforms' need for rapid product listing and accurate classification. Data collection was conducted with professional photographic equipment in natural light environments to ensure image quality. We implemented multiple rounds of labeling and expert review to ensure consistency and accuracy of labeling. Data is stored in JPG format and organized by category for easy subsequent processing and retrieval. The core advantage of this dataset is its high labeling accuracy, with labeling consistency reaching over 95% and high data integrity. We have adopted new data augmentation techniques, such as random cropping and color perturbation, enhancing the model's generalization ability. Using this dataset, image classification accuracy can be improved by up to 15%, significantly optimizing the user shopping experience.
