Motor Vehicle-Non-Motor Vehicle Collision Event Dataset

The current transportation industry faces frequent collisions between motor vehicles and non-motor vehicles (such as electric bikes and bicycles), leading to severe casualties and traffic disruptions. Existing traffic monitoring systems mostly focus on motor vehicle monitoring, lacking timely detection and analysis of non-motor vehicles, resulting in insufficient response measures after accidents. This dataset aims to provide rich video data of collision events to improve the accuracy of traffic safety analysis and support the development of accident prevention technologies. The dataset uses high-resolution cameras for long-term video collection in busy urban traffic areas to ensure diverse collision scenarios are recorded. To ensure data quality, multiple rounds of annotation and consistency checks were implemented, with reviews by traffic safety experts. The data is stored in MP4 format, organized by time and location for easy retrieval and analysis.
