Tunnel Construction Site Safety Helmet Wearing Detection Image Dataset

Currently, safety management at tunnel construction sites faces severe challenges, with frequent accidents, especially those leading to casualties due to not wearing safety helmets. Existing manual monitoring methods are inefficient, costly, and do not provide comprehensive coverage, making it difficult to achieve all-day dynamic monitoring. This dataset aims to solve the problem of automatically recognizing the wearing conditions of safety helmets at construction sites to meet safety supervision needs. Data acquisition uses high-definition camera equipment at tunnel construction sites, involving multiple construction stages and different weather conditions. Data quality is ensured through three rounds of review by a professional annotation team, including experts with a background in safety engineering. Data preprocessing includes steps such as image enhancement, denoising, etc., stored in structured JPG format to ensure easy retrieval and processing.
