Elderly Home Stair Usage Safety Intelligent Q&A Document Dataset

In the current society, with the intensifying aging population, more and more households face safety issues concerning elderly individuals staying alone, especially regarding stair usage. Existing alarm or monitoring solutions often lack intelligent interaction and personalized advice, making them ineffective in accident prevention. This dataset aims to capture and analyze various issues faced by the elderly while using stairs, establishing an intelligent Q&A system that provides personalized safety advice and reminders. Data collection involves simulating Q&A interactions between the elderly and their family members about stair usage, using voice transcription technology to convert conversations to text, and utilizing recording equipment within a home environment. Data quality is ensured through multiple rounds of expert annotation and validation, with a team consisting of linguists and safety experts to guarantee accuracy and practicality. Preprocessing includes denoising, transcription calibration, and text formatting, with data ultimately stored in structured TXT format and organized by scenario. The core advantage of this dataset is achieving annotation accuracy above 95%, maintaining consistency through multiple validations. New semantic analysis methods are introduced to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of Q&A system responses. Through practical application, the system can reduce accidents by at least 20%, significantly improving the home safety of the elderly. Compared to other datasets, its specialization and focus on the specific needs of the elderly give it uniqueness, with the capability to be expanded and optimized based on user feedback, offering strong versatility for different scenarios and personalized adjustments.
