Garden Flower Eyelash Rhododendron Recognition Image Dataset

In modern horticulture and forestry, accurate identification of plant species is particularly important for management and protection efforts. Given the vast number of plant species and the high similarity among genera, traditional identification methods struggle to meet the demand for high-precision, rapid recognition, often relying on human experts for on-site observation and judgment, which significantly limits the efficiency of automated management and large-scale identification. This dataset focuses on efficient recognition of eyelash rhododendrons, assisting related professionals with plant monitoring and management. The specific data were collected using professional camera equipment under different lighting and backgrounds, and underwent multiple rounds of professional manual annotation and consistency review to ensure high quality and accuracy. The annotation team consists of 15 members with backgrounds in botany and image processing. Data preprocessing includes image standardization, background noise removal, and enhancement processing, with all images stored and organized in JPG format.
